This is the Year of the rain of GOD. This is a season for change. Jeremiah. 17:5-8 ‘This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD. He is like a shrub in the desert, and will not see any good come. He will live in a parched land and in the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
This is the year of breaking the drought. 2016 is the year of new beginnings and breakthrough for the plenty that lies ahead. God is raising up His people in preparation for the end time harvest. Right now, many people are facing things that perhaps they never thought they would ever face. The times we live are truly challenging and difficult and perhaps you are facing a drought of some sort yourself. Perhaps there is some area of your life in which you are not seeing growth and development as you had hoped. Possibly this drought has come in a form of low finances, relationships under pressure, business taking strain, career in a decline, physically not to healthy, emotionally drained and stressed out or spiritually you are under attack. Whatever your drought be, God can and will redeem your life and save you from this lack.
This will be a year of ‘Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” Prepare yourself now and dedicate yourself to the Lord, and watch Father God cause His rain to pour down in your life and on the works of your hands. The drought and lack that you have experienced will be broken and the blessings of God will flow. He will show Himself to you as your faithful God, as you choose to serve Him and submit to Him in all your ways.
There are 3 things that can bring drought conditions into your life. When you put your trusting in man, when you depending on the flesh and when you hearts turns away from God. There are also 3 things that can bring relief from this same drought. When you put your trust in the Lord, when you have confidence in God and when you have a heart towards God.

He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” God is faithful and he will save you and redeem your day. This year will be the year you remember as the year of THE RAIN OF GOD. Make a choice not to lean on the arm flesh and do not put your hope in man. Put your hope in the Lord and trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.
This year will be the year that the church aligns itself with Kingdom Authority and Kingdom Government. This will be a season of signs and wonders, healings and miracles and power and authority. The children of God will stand as one body and the Word of Lord will flow in great anointing as young and old, rich and poor, man and woman, leader and servant together carry the glory and anointing of God.
This year will be a year of great outpouring from God. There will be physical manifestations of spiritual blessings and all the nations of the world will see the Gory of the Lord rise over His church. You will be a carrier of the Glory of God and God will show up and show off his presence through you to the world. The word of God says that, ‘where sin abounds, Grace much more abounds’. The crisis and pressure that the world is now under will not slow down. It will intensify and increase. What will happen is that, God will show up and cause His rain to flow to you, into you and through you.
You will be blessed and the drought you have gone through will only be a memory of the faithfulness of God during the season of drought. If you have experienced drought in your life, then it is most important to repent before God, put your hope and confidence in the Lord and keep your mind stayed on Him. Prepare the soil now and plant seeds of righteousness, for the rains are coming. The drought is broken and the soil will produce a harvest and abundance. Your broken relationships, low finances, ill health, spiritual drought or any other drought you face will be broken and the harvest of God’s providence will be seen in your life as you turn to God with all your heart. This is the year of the rain of God to you, into you and through you. God has trained you and He has given to you a heart for those who have lack. God is raising you up to be a blessing to the nations of the world. This season of drought has been redeemed by God and you will call it good. Out of this drought, you will rise up and be a well watered garden. You will have fruit in abundance and fruit in every area of your life. People will come to you and ask you, how come everything you put your hands to is blessed? People will ask, why is it that your life is so prosperous and you have such peace, when around you there is chaos, disaster and drought? Your answer will be! “I put my hope in the Lord, who is the maker of heaven and the maker of earth.”
You will not see and you will not taste the drought any more. It is broken off your life and God has redeemed your day.
